A little over 3 years ago, my family made the decision to move from Milwaukee to the little town of Viroqua, which we loved for its unique character, beautiful landscape and the inspiring, warm people.

Our vision was to create a quiet retreat for our family we could share with guests and pursue my dream of creating a retreat center focused on getting families into the outdoors.  After searching for one year, we found this property with its oak forest, surrounded by state land and two trout streams.  Ground was broken on Driftless Creek in May of 2018, with the construction of our road and the first cabin.   There are now 3 private cabins on the property, along with over a mile of hiking and biking trails through the forest.  

Over the next year, we will continue our work by expanding the trails, adding a meeting space with a view, sauna and treehouse or two.  The cabin interiors will consistently be improved based on guest feedback so that we may continue to provide privacy and a unique guest experience.   Our aim is to provide you a place to reflect, connect and recharge in a quiet, beautiful atmosphere.
